Next Networking Social: Brevard Art Museum, Wednesday March 24th
Join us for a very special networking social this month at the Brevard Art Museum. Join us as we network with Brevard Art Museum Board Members and hear about what is going on at your museum! This event will take place on March 24th (Please note that this is a Wednesday) from 6:00 to 7:30pm. Hors d'ourves and drinks will be provided by the Museum.
Young Professionals of Brevard will host Access 2010 on April 22, 2010 at the Hilton Melbourne Rialto Place. Access 2010 will offer Brevard’s young professionals the opportunity to network with the community’s marquee business leaders in a relaxed and intimate atmosphere over dinner.
Several leaders have recently signed on to attend the event. The scheduled list includes (but is not limited to) Dottie Allen, Wuesthoff Foundation, Dr. Anthony Catanese, Florida Institute of Technology, Roger Dobson, Ocean Partners Associates, LTD., Dr. James A. Drake, Brevard Community College, John Hopkins, Berman Hopkins Wright & LaHam, Dana Kilborne, Prime Bank, Gary Krueger, TLC Engineering, Stephen Maklansky, Brevard Art Museum, Dr. George Mikitarian, Parrish Medical Center, Kendall Moore, Johnson Law Center, John Newton, Newton Development, J. Stanley Payne, Canaveral Port Authority, Jeff Piersall, Space Coast Business Media Group, Bernie Simpkins, S&S Enterprises, Jim Stivers, Certified General Contractors, County Manager Howard Tipton, Keith Winsten, Brevard Zoo, and Ken Whittaker, Whittaker Cooper Financial.

Young Professionals of Brevard (ypB), a program of LEAD Brevard, launched in 2005 to address our county’s need to better attract and retain the young professional (YP) demographic. Congratulations to this year’s recipients!
Congratulations to Steve Crisafulli- Crisafulli Enterprises, Inc. / State Representative, Florida House District 32; Courtney Culver-Symetrics Industries, LLC; Susan McGrath- United Way of Brevard; and Lisa Stigall- Harrish Corporation. They were chosen from twelve finalists for LEAD Brevard's 6th Annual 4 Under 40 - Celebrating Brevard's Next Generation of Leaders recognition.
The event took place Friday, February 19 at the Bernard Simpkins Fine Arts Auditorium on the Campus of Brevard Community College in Cocoa. 2010 marked the second annual Rodney S. Ketcham Leadership Award, honoring Mr. Ketcham and his legacy in our community. This year’s recipient of the award was Mr. Roger Dobson. His leadership roles in many
capacities reflect his commitment to leadership, education
and the development of our future leaders.
Those in attendance were treated to entertainment and keynote by the evening’s Emcee, Chirstian Tamburr and his Christian Tamburr Quartet.
Special thanks to our group of community leaders who served as judges, including Debbie Harvey, Ron Jon Surf Shop; Mark Mikoljaczyk, FLORIDA TODAY; Jeff Piersall, Space Coast Business Media Group and Dr. Joe Lee Smith, Brevard Community College.

YP Fast Track is the newest leadership and professional development program from LEAD Brevard, Brevard County's premier leadership development organization.
YP Fast Track is designed for young, working professionals - programs are conveniently scheduled and modules are designed to provide the maximum learning experience based on your program goals.
YP Fast Track will help develop your leadership skills and your strengths, putting you in a position to accelerate your career.
YP Fast Track engages you in the Brevard community, introducing you to the people and places on the Space Coast and showing how you can get involved and make a difference.
YP Fast Track is just what it says: The Fast Track for any young professional wanting to take their career to the next level!
Knowing that today's young professionals want opportunities to learn the skills that will help them succeed, we've developed a program that gives you the foundation to build on, from leadership development and professional skills, to personal growth and community service.
Developed with input from young professionals, YP Fast Track is five, day-long sessions that will provide you with hands-on, interactive learning experiences, insights from established and successful professionals, a glimpse into your leadership style and how to best use it, and an overview of what makes Brevard County a great place to live, work, and play!
