PROGRAMS & INITIATIVES
LEAD Brevard offers a wide variety of programs and initiatives to fit the needs of our community. These programs and initiatives are divided between Leadership Development and Community Development.
Leadership Development Programs
Leadership Brevard- Founded to enhance the civic participation of emerging leaders within Brevard County. Annually, a class of fifty candidates representing the private, public and non-profit sectors enrolls for eight, day-long sessions of instruction and dialogue about key county & regional issues, leadership development skills and opportunities for increased civic involvement. An 8 month leadership program combining leadership training and community awareness.
YP Fast Track- is designed for young, working professionals - programs are conveniently scheduled and modules are designed to provide the maximum learning experience based on your program goals. This program focuses on personal and professional development in addition to community awareness.
Youth Leadership Brevard- Modeled after Leadership Brevard, YLB engages high school sophomores, juniors and seniors in leadership activities and experiential learning.
On Board Brevard- presents an opportunity for newcomers to meet other new residents and learn more about life and living in Brevard County. It is a half-day session, chock full of information as an introduction to the County. On Board Brevard is designed for new and nearly-new adult residents of Brevard County. Longer term residents, future residents, and those visiting for an extended stay are also welcomed.
