About Us
The development of Young Professionals of Brevard arose from a demonstrated need to provide young professionals in Brevard County with social, cultural, educational and recreational opportunities and activities geared to their interests.
ypB is the premier program in Brevard County dedicated to career-minded individuals, ages 21 to 40 who are interested in expanding their professional and social networks and participating in career and community development opportunities. A program of LEAD Brevard, ypB offers its members networking events, career and professional development programs, civic and community involvement, and cultural and social activities.
Guiding Principals
- ypB is built on the foundation of individuals coming together for professional, civic and social development.
- ypB will target 21-40 year olds for membership without discrimination against individuals outside that age group.
- ypB will provide networking opportunities - these events are not to be used as a forum for direct solicitations
- ypB will embrace diversity in our membership
- ypB will encourage geographic unification of Brevard County
- ypB will provide opportunities to make members and the community better
