♦ There are still volunteer opportunities available to volunteer with Viera Little League - Hours worked will support ypB
Viera Regional Park will host a series of little league baseball and softball tournaments, beginning Friday, June 6. The management of the tournament is seeking volunteers to man the Coke trailer, selling soft drinks. A percentage of the income will 
be shared with ypB for the time any member is working.
The remaining tournament dates are as follows: Thursday, July 3 - Saturday, July 12 - and Saturday, July 19.
This is a great opportunity to support America's favorite pastime and our area youth, while also helping raise funds for ypB programs. If you have the time and would like to volunteer, please contact Liz Head to sign up for a shift(s). Liz can be reached at (321) 446-5959 or email lizhead@cfl.rr.com. Be sure to identify yourself as a member of ypB.

• Improv: The Game Show - July 11
Experience the Melbourne Civic Theatre’s production of IMPROV: The Game Show
It’s a hysterical improvisational game show that pits audience member against audience member as they try to match wits with the funniest improvists and comedians of the Space Coast. The audience becomes contestants playing games such as “Shtick, tac, toe”, ”Whose Lie Is It”, “Are You Smarter Than The Village Idiot”, “Baffled” and many more. After each game there will be comical commercial breaks. At the end of every show some lucky contestants will win a fabulously mediocre door prize!
Showtime is Friday, July 11th at 8pm! Meet at Mainstreet Pub at 6pm and enjoy a 10% discount on dinner and/or drinks before the show! Tickets are only $15! Seating is limited, so please click here to RSVP now!
• Investment Seminar - July 22
ypB presents David Brooks from UBS Financial Services and his presentation, “Cornerstones to Investing.” The event will be held on July 22nd from 6-8pm on the 5th floor of the Marina Towers in Melbourne, Fl. This introductory course is for young professionals looking to learn more about investments. This is your opportunity to take the first step towards growing your wealth and solidifying your financial future!

• United Space Alliance Leadership Association Networking - Casual Attire Event Wednesday, July 9th - 5:00PM to 8:00PM Fishlips Waterfront Bar and Grill, 610 Glen Cheek Drive, Port Canaveral
You are cordially invited to attend USALA's "Membership Has It's Benefits Celebration." By popular request USALA is hosting another networking - casual attire event. Derek Bernard of "Derek and the Slammers" will be there for your dancing and listening enjoyment. Sumptuous hors d'oeuvres will be served at no chart to USALA members and $10.00 for guests. The Brevard Workforce Development Board, Inc. and LEAD Brevard, Inc., partners of the Brevard Workforce Housing Task Force, are currently seeking input from Brevard County employers on housing affordiability in the county and the impact it has on employment. ypB is seeking members interested in helping us make history in Brevard by hosting 250 Young Professionals from across the nation at the 2008 YP International Summit, September 25th-27th.
What you can give...a few hours of your time to help coordinate logistics and events.

• Ambassador sponsorship opportunities are available
Are you or your company interested in becoming a sponsor for the summit?
Your business could be selected as one of a limited number of preferred representatives to serve as a welcoming Ambassador to this highly sought after group of young leaders. Sponsors will receive the unique opportunity to represent Brevard’s business community through goodwill contribution and presence at the kickoff and welcome reception for this special event. Contributions will also help offset the expenses of bringing the Young Professionals International Summit to Brevard County. In return for a nominal investment, participating businesses will be honored in a special announcement in the Brevard Business News publication during the week of the summit and listed as one of the Ambassador sponsors in the event program. Sponsors will also be allowed to send one representative to the YP Summit welcome reception for the event attendees and sponsors. The invaluable investment to participate at this prestigious and momentous event is only $500.
