ypB’s 3rd Anniversary Celebration – Turn at the Tables 
Young Professionals of Brevard celebrated its 3rd Anniversary on August 29th, 2008 at the Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Audi dealership in Melbourne. Over 120 young professionals from throughout the county were in attendance.
Attendees donated over $700 worth of school supplies which will be given to Brevard Public Schools.
The event featured casino style gaming, a high roller award. A gift basket from Club 52 was awarded to the night's winner, Kyle Hogan of Remaxx Olympic.
Congratulations to Michele Murrell of the Maxwell C. King Center for the Performing Arts, she was selected as this year's ypB Member of the Year!
Many more raffle prizes were awarded to participants throughout the evening!
A big thank you to our sponsors, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Audi of Melbourne, Space Coast Business Media Group, LLC, and All Star Printing for making this event a great one!
YP Fast Track Graduation
The YP Fast Track graduated its inagural class of 2008 on Friday, August 29th (in conjunction with the Young Professionals of Brevard anniversary event). YP Fast Track creates a network of young professional leaders who are self aware, have a definition of leadership for themselves, and develop and leverage their own leadership style to become a more valuable member of their own organization’s leadership team.

YP International Summit 2008 
• Ambassador sponsorship opportunities are available
Are you or your company interested in becoming a sponsor for the summit?
Your business could be selected as one of a limited number of preferred representatives to serve as a welcoming Ambassador to this highly sought after group of young leaders. Sponsors will receive the unique opportunity to represent Brevard’s business community through goodwill contribution and presence at the kickoff and welcome reception for this special event.
Contributions will also help offset the expenses of bringing the Young Professionals International Summit to Brevard County. In return for a nominal investment, participating businesses will be honored in a special announcement in the Brevard Business News publication during the week of the summit and listed as one of the Ambassador sponsors in the event program.
Sponsors will also be allowed to send one representative to the YP Summit welcome reception for the event attendees and sponsors. The invaluable investment to participate at this prestigious and momentous event is only $500.

Nominations being accepted for LEAD Brevard's 5th annual 4 under 40!
LEAD Brevard is now accepting nominations for its 5th annual 4 under 40 – Celebrating the Next Generation of Leaders, an event recognizing the achievements of Brevard County’s young adults. Do you know a YP who is taking a leadership role and making a positive impact in our community? Then nominate them today!
Nominations are open to anyone, ages 21 to 39, who lives or works in Brevard County and will be accepted until the close of business on Friday, September 24, 2008. CLICK HERE for a nomination form or visit the LEAD Brevard website at www.LEADBrevard.org or call 321-632-8222 .
You can submit a nomination on behalf of individuals who possess the following leadership characteristics: exceptional communication skills; originality of approaches to strengthening and transforming the community; knowledge and understanding of how the community works; social entrepreneurship; tangible improvement in the lives of others; measurably strengthening the quality and health of community institutions; and a sustainable impact on the community at large.
Nominees will be notified and asked to provide information regarding their qualifications. Finalists for the award will be notified in early November.
